The "Afik L'Chaim" association operates a support center for addicts in recovery processes, aiming to help them successfully reintegrate into a healthy and functioning routine, by providing the knowledge, experience, and professional tools needed for this purpose. The center is located in Beit Shemesh and accepts participants from all over the country, offering, among other things, rental rooms for a period of three months at a subsidized and affordable price, in a religious atmosphere.

Continued Housing (Hostel) for Clean Addicts
Leaving the recovery institution is accompanied by great joy, but also by significant fears about the future and life without a supporting shoulder and the familiar environment of friends in the same boat of addiction. For this very reason, "Afik L'Chaim" has a complex offering rental rooms for three months, with full board and social workers and therapists in the field of addictions available to assist regularly - all at a subsidized and affordable price and tailored for those who observe Torah and mitzvot.
Free Legal Consultation
Sometimes, the addict and their family reach a dire situation due to loss of income - leading to a short path to liens imposed on them and even to taking loans from dubious sources - requiring a professional hand to help them escape the economic pitfall they have fallen into. For this purpose, "Afik L'Chaim" center conducts a weekly public reception by a lawyer specializing in enforcement and bankruptcy issues, free of charge.
Assistance and Support for Family Members
The patients' families are among the first to suffer from the disease of addiction. Nevertheless, the value of a supportive family is irreplaceable in the recovery process, and there is a tremendous need for an experienced entity to accompany it during this challenging period and provide the right tools for genuine long-term improvement. For this purpose, at the "Afik L'Chaim" center, there are guides who are themselves clean addicts assisting in the recovery process and serving as a stable isle in the sea of tensions and uncertainty.
Addiction Identification Workshop for Teens
This workshop is an additional activity carried out at the "Afik L'Chaim" center, through which we assist addicted teenagers who also face many challenges at such an early stage of life. The workshop, consisting of 6 sessions, will be conducted by therapists experienced in working with addicted teenagers, boasting years of success in the field.
12-Step Recovery Group
This globally recognized and implemented method provides a proactive and structured framework for forming and maintaining the recovery process for all types of addictions. It is delivered by experienced therapists and personal guides at the "Afik L'Chaim" center.
The Ambulatory Medical Center
The ambulatory center of Afik L'Chaim, approved and supervised by the Ministry of Health, was established to provide a comprehensive response to victims of prescription drugs who are unable to enter long-term inpatient treatment. The center hosts seminars for doctors and relevant entities in the health funds.
